SONESTAホテルが面白い | オールインクルーシブホテルもポイントで予約可能
バックグラウンド メジャーホテルではないホテルってプロモや特典を良くする傾向があります。メジャーホテルチェーンと同じような特典だとみんなHilton, Marriott, IHG, Hyattを選んでしまうからです。 Sonestaホテルが面白いと思います。ホテル数がまだ多くないですが、面白いホテルがあるのでざっくり紹介したいと思います。 入会ボーナスと必要ポイント数がバランスいい SonestaクレジットカードはBank of Americaが発行していて、今125,000ポイントの入会ボーナスをやっています。 125kと聞くと結構多く感じますが、実際はポイントを使う時に1泊100kまたは200kするのでは使えません（例、IHG）。ところがSonestaホテルは高級ホテルRoyal Sonestaでも最大1泊50kで、40kで泊まれるホテルも多くあります。 さらにあまりネット上に出てきていませんが、オールインクルーシブホテルもポイントで予約が可能です。これが特にねらい目   カウアイにあるRoyal Sonestaは1泊40kポイント 入会ボーナスが125kですので、1枚あれば3泊できます。2人での旅行ならお互い1枚ずつ作って3泊ずつ予約すれば6泊のハワイ、カウアイ旅行のホテルがカバーできてしまいますね。 1泊諸税前で550ドルほどしますが、40kポイントです。600ドルと仮定して計算すると1ポイント1.5セントの価値があるという意味になりますね。入会ボーナスが125kなので、入会ボーナスの価値は1,875ドルぐらいあることになります。すごいですね。   セントマーチンにあるオールインクルーシブホテルは1泊50kポイント 今のSonestaポイントを使うならセントマーチンにあるSonestaブランド唯一のオールインクルーシブホテルで使うのがおすすめ。 1部屋2人までと記載があるのでポイント予約でカバーされるのは大人2人までの食費だと思います。1泊に必要なポイント数は50k 2人で2枚作れば4泊は泊まれるだけのポイントが入会ボーナスでもらえますね。   30kポイントあれば結構良さそうなSonestaホテルに泊まれる 上記のカウアイとセントマーチンは1泊40-50kポイント必要でした。そこまでポイントを使わないでも調べてみると結構良さそうなホテルが30kポイントほどで予約可能です。 例えば、プエルトリコ そしてマイアミビーチ どちらも1泊30kですが、キャッシュだと500-600ドル以上。このポイントの使い方はおすすめです。30kのホテルだと1枚クレジットカードを作れば4泊泊まれちゃうので、それだけで1回分の旅行になりますね。   まとめ 皆さん、Sonestaホテルいかがでしょうか？結構使えそうな気がします。 何事もそうですが、最初はお得で徐々に改悪で悪くなっていく可能性があるので、早めにクレジットカードを作り、早めに予約がおすすめです。 ちなみに私なら夫婦で合計2枚作ってカウアイに6泊旅行に使いたいと思います。 The post SONESTAホテルが面白い | オールインクルーシブホテルもポイントで予約可能 first appeared on アメリカ在住陸マイラー.

メキシコシティお勧めTacosレストラン
バックグラウンド メキシコシティはTacosが有名！ということでとりあえずひたすら毎日Tacosを食べました。4日間ですが色んなタイプのレストランに行ってみた感想をシェアしたいと思います。 特に観光地とAndaz Mexico City Condesa周辺のレストランが気になる人にとって重宝する情報だと思います。 お腹の弱い人でも結構大丈夫 実は私、昔からお腹が弱めです。特に油物に弱い傾向があります。なのでギトギトの肉系料理を食べたりするとすぐにお腹を壊してしまいます。 メキシコシティでのTacosは脂っぽそうだから自分のお腹が大丈夫なのか心配でした。それにTacosにかけるソースは辛いのしかないので、脂たっぷりな肉に辛いソースをかけて毎日食べるとなると不安要素しかありませんでした。 ところが実際メキシコシティで昼と夜はTacosを食べ、おやつにチュロスを食べたけどお腹を壊すことはありませんでした。Tacosの中身は肉がほとんどでしたが、脂ぎっとりな感じではなかったです。 なので私のようにお腹が弱い人でもメキシコシティのTacosは十分楽しめると思います。   食のレベル＆値段 アメリカで食べるTex Mexとは全然違います。そしてどこで食べてもテキサスのメキシカンレストランで食べるよりもおいしかったです。 値段はメキシコだからどこでも安い！と私は何となーく考えて旅行していたのですが、実際行ってみるとそうでもないことに気が付きました。逆にものすごく安くて、ものすごく美味しいTacosがあることも体験できました。 これから説明しますが、値段は色んな要素により変動するけど、ほぼどこでTacosを食べてもアメリカのメキシカン料理に慣れた人なら美味しく感じると思います。そして面白いことに値段が高いレストランの方がTacosの種類が必ずしも多い、または美味しいとは限りません。   値段が高くなる要素 メキシコシティだと 「値段が高ければより美味しい！」 という方程式はあまり信頼できないと感じました。だったら値段が安い方が旅行中も楽しいですよね？では値段が高くなる要素って何なのか？これから説明していきます。 下記のリストに当てはまるレストランは値段設定が高くなる傾向があります。 英語メニューがある/英語が話せるスタッフがいる レストランが完全室内 クレジットカードが使える 観光地近くにある アルコールをおいている シーフードを扱っている 極論、上記にリストアップした条件に当てはまらないレストランが安くて美味しいです。そのようなレストランで食べている客はほぼローカルの人のみです。これが狙い目です！ 考えてみると上記のリストはコストを上げる要因ですね。でもここまで目に見えてはっきりわかったのは私にとってメキシコシティが初めてです。凄く美味しく安い店を見つけられた時の喜びが半端ないです。 Tacoレストランをお勧め順にリストアップしていきます。   お勧めレストラン Taqueria La Chiquita Google Maps あまりにも美味しく、そして安かったのでレストランの正面写真を撮ること自体を忘れてしまいました。Andazから徒歩10分ぐらいで英語のメニューはないし、スパニッシュしか通じない、現金のみ、アルコールをおいていない、そしてTacoショップの壁を取っ払ってイスとテーブルを外に並べたまさにこれぞメキシコのTacoレストラン！という感じです。 Tacosは全て12ペソで、どれを食べても美味しい！我が家がオーダーしたのは Maciza（豚肉のチョップ？） Oreja (豚の耳) Corazon（心臓） Cachete（ほほ肉） Lengua（牛タン） ソースは1つととてもベーシックですが、あまり辛すぎないので日本人でも大丈夫なレベルです。ソースが辛すぎるとTacosにかけれなくなります。すると味も単調なものとなるので、ソースが辛すぎないというのは非常に大切なポイントです。 塩もテーブルに用意されてあるので1-2振りかけてあげると👍です。 ここはまたメキシコシティに行ったら絶対に行きたいレストランです。ここは自信をもってお勧めできます。ドリンク3本、Tacosは15こほどで250ペソくらいでした。...
