On 24th July, a Saurya Airlines CRJ-200/ER aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. The aircraft was reportedly en route to Pokhara with nineteen passengers and crew members on board. All those on board were the airline employees and the aircraft was being ferried to Pokhara for maintenance. A major IT outage at Microsoft caused widespread flight disruptions affecting tens of thousands of passengers worldwide. On 12th July, a Sukhoi Superjet 100 crashed in Russia during a post-maintenance test flight, killing all three crew members on board. The Gazpromavia Sukhoi Superjet 100-95, with registration RA-89049, was operating a ferry flight 4G9608 from Lukhovitsy Airfield to Moscow Vnukovo with three crew members on board. On 11th July, a Saudia Airbus A330 was evacuated at Peshawar Airport, Pakistan due to a landing gear fire. Due to this issue, the aircraft skidded off the taxiway and came to a stop on the grass.
